PATRIZIA Ardennes Adventure Challenge 2026

New Horizons, New Ambitions: Setting Off for Luxembourg

From 20 to 23 September 2026, 50 PATRIZIA employees as well as sponsors and partners will head to Luxembourg for the sixth PATRIZIA Hiking Challenge, an inspiring test of endurance. Together, they will push their limits in support of a good cause.Their journey will take them along the celebrated Escapardenne Lee Trail, one of a select few European routes to be awarded the prestigious ‘Leading Quality Trail’ certification. With 50 kilometres and 1,800 metres of elevation over two days, the route is a formidable challenge. Participants will pass through the striking scenery of northern Luxembourg along the way, encountering dramatic rock formations, heritage sites, and historic castles amidst a richly varied landscape.

In recent years, this initiative has raised over ÂŁ565,000 for global education projects supported by the PATRIZIA Foundation. This year, the focal point of our fundraising efforts is PATRIZIA Child Care Mymensingh in Bangladesh.

Our Target: ÂŁ150,000

for Children in Mymensingh, Bangladesh

You can also play a meaningful part in helping us reach this goal! Every pound matters and goes directly to the project.

PATRIZIA Child Care Mymensingh

In Bangladesh, more than 30 million people live below the poverty line, with many living in extreme poverty. In Mymensingh, north of Dhaka, young children are often left alone while their mothers are at work, and older sisters often miss school to care for their younger siblings. The PATRIZIA Child Care Centre in Mymensingh is helping to break this cycle.

Each year, the centre provides early childhood education for 200 disadvantaged children aged 18 months to six years. In four childcare groups, children benefit from play-based learning and weekend programmes in a safe and nurturing environment. This enables older siblings to attend school and allows mothers to work. The centre is operated by the local partner organisation MATI e.V.

What makes the project distinctive is its integrated and sustainable approach. In addition to the childcare centre, the building will include rental apartments, a vocational training centre for sewing and IT, a health centre, a pharmacy, and a shop selling organic products from a local farmers’ cooperative. The income generated will cover most of the centre’s running costs.

Support services for 60 families, courses for 100 mothers and a cooperative for 160 women will further strengthen the local community and create ten skilled jobs for women from low-income families. Through early years training for surrounding schools, the centre is also becoming a multiplier, with the potential to reach thousands of children and families across the region in the long term.
